Class of 2024: Never too soon!

It's hard to believe I'm already thinking about my next class of seniors and getting ready for the shooting season for the Class of 2024! It's never too soon to start planning for your senior's portrait session. Such an exciting time to capture, but much easier to get it on the calendar earlier in the school year (or even summer before) than to wait until all the sports/activities/banquets take up all the available time.

Here are the BEST reasons to start planning ahead!

1) Booking ahead gives you the most options on my availability calendar. It gives us some wiggle room if weather doesn't cooperate (thanks, Indiana...) on your session date. My best advice is to think about which season you'd prefer to be photographed in and then go from there. Take into account your own personal schedule... sports, work, breaks, etc...

2) Booking so far in advance gives you time to plan exactly what you want your senior session to look like. It gives us time to discuss outfits, locations, get permits (if necessary), and take the guessing work out of things as the session date approaches.

3) Planning ahead allows for scheduling hair/nails/makeup appointments if necessary. Those are obviously never required for my sessions, but it's nice to be able to look ahead and see your options.

4) One last benefit to being proactive in the planning process is that you'll have the images ready to use for scholarships essays, awards banquets, and graduation announcements without having to rush around or pay extra for expedited shipping.

I've had one senior graduate already and my youngest is about to in May. When I say the end of the year gets crazy, trust me: it really does. We just wrapped up spring break and I just know the last stretch of the year is going to fly by. Soak it up! I know I am. xoxo
